TRUMAN VIDEO
The Truman Show is a 1998 film in which the protagonist (Truman, played by Carrey) is a man whose life is entirely fabricated: he lives inside a huge television set built around him.
An enormous reality show of which the protagonist is completely unaware: the director and his team create experiences for him in advance, and everyone he meets is an actor!
The video above shows the scene in which Truman, while sailing, realises the reality he is living in.
Some experiences and platforms create precisely this Truman Show effect: everything is perfect and prepared for us in advance, but heaven forbid we should want to look under the bonnet!
The Apple experience is one example! They decide what is best for us (and do it brilliantly), but heaven forbid we should want to go further 😁.
